Balance And Abs

Balancing Drill

Ab Circuit

 

Today we will go lighter on the muscles. We are going to be performing a fun balancing drill followed by an intense ab circuit.

Balancing Drill

Exercise #1- 30 second balance on the balls of both feet
Exercise #2- 30 second balance on left foot
Exercise #3- 30 second balance on right foot
Exercise #4- 30 second balance on right toe or ball of the foot
Exercise #5- 30 second balance on left toe or ball of the foot
Exercise #6- 10 right leg pistols
Exercise #7- 10 left leg pistols
Exercise #8- Right leg kicks 5 rounds (total of 15 kicks)
Exercise #9- Left leg kicks 5 rounds (total of 15 kicks)

 

Ab Circuit

Exercise #1- 30 Crunches
Exercise #2- 60 Bicycles
Exercise #3- 30 Count Of 6 Inches
Exercise #4- 30 Count With Legs Raised
Exercise #5- 30 Scissor Kicks
Exercise #6- 30 Wide Kicks
Exercise #7- 30 Heel Touches

If you are trying to cut down and want to get some extra cardio in, take a 5 minute break afterward and perform some cardio such as jumping rope or fun physical activity like basketball or soccer.

These workouts are optional for the Get Fit Challenge. If you have your own workouts and routine, you can do those. These are well rounded workouts that will cut fat and build efficient lean muscle.
